The Jean G. Killion House (1954) in Pasadena’s Poppy Peak Historic District is a significant example of mid-century modern architecture.
Designed by Killion, the residence features a post-and-beam structure with original redwood siding and an 18-foot high great room with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views from Downtown LA to Catalina Island.
“I led the recent restoration with the aim of respecting Killion's original design while modernizing the home. Preserving the redwood beams and terra-cotta brick pavers was crucial to maintaining the home’s character.”
